Spent a magical 4 days working with Visit Ventura and The Channel Islands National Park in partnership with The Outbound to produce content for the promotion of the National Park (Santa Rosa Island in particular), Ventura, and area businesses. I was stoked to be joined a great group of fellow-influencers: Gunner Hamina, Kellen Mohr, Deidre Leigh Haney, Jesse Biggio, and Meghan White.
All told we generated some 3,000 images, several dozen Instagram/Social posts and stories with tens of thousands of likes and nearly a million impressions. We also created the following articles:
- The Island Less Visited: 72 Hours of Adventure on Santa Rosa Island and Ventura
- Climb Black Mountain on Santa Rosa Island
- Hike to East Point via the Costal Road
- Hike the Torrey Pines Trail on Santa Rosa Island
- Hike Arroyo Verde Park
The trip began as a multi-day immersion into the unique ecosystem of Santa Rosa Island, one of the most remote and least visited of the Channel Islands, and ended with a whirlwind tour of the City of Ventura including the Bella Maggiore Hotel, The Serra Cross, Saloon BBQ, VenTiki Lounge, Vagabond Coffee Shop, Beach House Tacos, and Prospect Coffee.
